KOfi's Story

Kofi Dadson is a Host, Producer, and Director who is passionate about creating spaces where people feel seen, heard, and valued.

Kofi's first experience in the world of entertainment was as a live event host. As a student at Lincoln University and a member of the Alpha Phi Alpha fraternity incorporated, Kofi was pushed to speak at several events. Being pushed into the spotlight allowed him to fall into his passion.

Kofi solidified his commitment to a career as a live event host in 2014 when he introduced Wale (who performed songs from his "Album About Nothing" project) during a spring concert at his alma mater. This moment created an abundance of opportunities for Kofi. He went on to ignite college crowds all over the East Coast!

 

His mass success in live event hosting pushed him to pack his bags and head out to Los Angeles, where his journey

continues to unfold. While in Los Angeles, he has had the opportunity to work with companies like the LA Clippers, Bleacher Report, Metta World Peace, Wheresthebuzz TV, All Urban Central, King Ice Jewelry, Adidas & TMZ. Throughout his years in Los Angeles, he expanded his wheelhouse as a creative and became a journalist, producer, and director. His journey continued as a Journalist and TV personality for TMZ “TMZ on TV," breaking

stories for some of your favorite celebrities.

 

When the pandemic hit in 2020, Kofi was laid off from TMZ and had time to take a step and figure out what he wanted his legacy to be. This time with God and stillness led him to create Scene by Us Productions, a production company created to curate content that helps people from all walks of life feel seen, heard, and valued. Today, Kofi produces original content like The Root of It All under the Scene by Us Productions umbrella and continues impacting lives through his work as a live event host and public speaker.
